14-Time European Cup Winners Los Blancos Set January Deadline to Land Kylian Mbappé From Paris Saint-Germain

14-Time European Cup Winners Los Blancos Set January Deadline to Land Kylian Mbappé From Paris Saint-Germain

If you have a been a fan of football for even only the past few years, then you will know that a latest plot twist in the Los Blancos-Kylian Mbappé transfer saga will take place in a new year. In the newest edition of this mega news, the 14-time European Cup / UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid are reportedly ready to offer Paris Saint-Germain a deal to bring the 24-year-old France national team captain to Spain in the upcoming winter transfer window, a move that will potentially bring an end to the soap drama that has been growing in European club football in recent times.

A January Deadline Set by Los Blancos on the Kylian Mbappé Deal

According to sources, the 35-time Spanish La Liga champions Los Blancos will be offering a deal to the 2022 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot Winner in Qatar on the first day of January, but the move comes with a deadline of 14 days for the France forward to decide on whether his future lies within the French capital Paris or a dream move to his favourite football club Real Madrid when the next transfer window is done and dusted.

With his current Paris Saint-Germain contract set to expire at the end of the 2023/2024 Season, Kylian Mbappé has refused to make any moves to sign an extension with the 11-time French Ligue 1 champions despite having only a few months left in the existing deal. In other words, his departure from the club is only inevitable, leaving the only questions to be when and where will he play next in his professional football career.

Besides, Paris Saint-Germain have been preparing the aftermath of Mbappé’s departure to join Los Blancos some time next year, having signed several attackers last summer, namely Marco Asensio, Lee Kang-in, Ousmane Dembélé, Gonçalo Ramos, etc. (Click here to find out more about Ramos’s sealed permanent deal with PSG.)

Who Will Los Blancos Go for If They Do Not Sign Mbappé?

Should Mbappé does not give a yes before the deadline of the January deal set by Los Blancos, sources have told us that the famous team in white jerseys will do everything it takes to land Norway striker sensation Erling Haaland from Pep Guardiola’s continental treble-winning Manchester City. The 23-year-old goal scoring machine has been his old self in this year after his 52-goal outing in the best season in the Cityzens’ history, registering 19 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions for the three-time defending English Premier League winners.

While many would think that landing Haaland is impossible for Los Blancos and that Haaland is only in his second year with the Blue Side of Manchester, the Norwegian has proven that he has the hunger to conquer every league he has played in the past, and most definitely would not mind a challenge to reach the summit of the Spanish top-flight football.

The possible transactions will not take place until the start of the new calendar year of 2024, but do stay tuned to OtherLeague.com as we bring you the latest happenings of these potential mega news!

Luis Suárez Set to Reunite with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami CF

Apart from Kylian Mbappé’s likely incoming transfer at Los Blancos from the two-time defending French Ligue 1 winners, another much anticipated deal is likely to take place in the next few weeks, that is, 36-year-old Luis Suárez’s potential move to the Major League Soccer by joining Inter Miami CF. The Uruguayan striker recently ended his career at Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, and has been reported that he will pen a deal to reunite with his ex-Barcelona teammates, such as Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, people whom he won a total of 13 major silverware at domestic and continental club football competitions with.
