Keane is one of the most prolific forwards in Tottenham history, scoring 122 times in 303 games with the team. Dempsey had a much shorter run, only one season, but he did score seven goals in his 29 appearances. This will also mark the first time that Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard will suit up for the MLS All-Stars, having recently joined the Galaxy of Los Angeles.

It’ll be interesting to see if Gerrard and Frank Lampard get much playing time, considering neither has kicked a ball in MLS action. Their selections caused a bit of controversy among plenty of players who wished that guys who were more traditional MLS All-Stars had been added to the squad.

Tottenham Squad Goalkeepers (4): Hugo Lloris, Michel Vorm, Luke McGee, Tom Glover Defenders (10): Kyle Walker, Kieran Trippier, DeAndre Yedlin, Danny Rose, Ben Davies, Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier,…

[29

Outlook
